Born : Hillcrest Hospital, Harvest Road, North Fremantle, Western Australia in 1960. Name: Nyisztor is pronounced nistor /nistɔ:/ and has its origin in Transylvania. Childhood: Spent in semi rural South Coogee, South of Fremantle, on the west side of Thomson's Lake Nature Reserve. Study: Design at Perth Technical College in James Street in North-bridge from 1976 - 1978. Then at the Western Australian Institute of Technology (now known as Curtin University) graduating with a Degree in Design. Work: Graphic designer at Murdoch University in the Media Services Department in 1980 then later designing neon and illuminated signs, and also working as a freelance designer. Career: Visual artist exhibiting regularly within Australia and abroad (CV available below). Since 2007 manager and director of Nyisztor Studio, an artist run initiative in Perth Western Australia..
